Workout 1:
2 Rounds
12 Minute Run
2 Minute rest
Don’t blow it out in the first round. Run at about the pace you would for a 15-20 minute time trial.

First 12 minutes: 2700m
400m Splits:

Rest 2 minutes

Second 12 Minutes: 2300m

Notes: Heat definitely a factor, with Heat Index: 100 degrees. Didn’t warm up at all b/c figured would overheat sooner. Took 2xEndurolytes before the run, think it helped a little. Felt ok during the first run, was ahead of Mark C. Second run started getting beat down by the heat around 1000m in, but tried to stay relaxed and under the red line. Overall, pretty happy with this.
